What If Education™ was born from our love of questions that challenge and test our thinking, and our tendency to have a bit of an ‘outside-of-the-box’ spirit at times. Asking “What if...” challenges us to think about what things could be like if we were to change: what can we expect from the change.
It helps us imagine things differently and consider new possibilities, exactly what we need in a time of such rapid change. Fueling our curiosity and sense of wonder, it also fits with the idea of innovation perfectly. Hi I'm Bek Galloway, I love education - always have and always will. I spent 16 years in the classroom before starting full-time work as an Education Consultant in 2016. I can still remember a conference in the early 2000’s that truly “lit my fire” for a more relevant, future-focused approach. I had no idea at the time how to actually do it; I didn’t know how to change, just that I wanted to. That I needed to - for the kids!
So my journey of the last 20 years began. Today, I am consulting full-time, here at What If Education™. I get great joy from supporting teachers to make the changes they're seeking. I pride myself on being a relevant and practical facilitator, with lots of ideas, examples and resources to help teachers translate theory into practice!
